Urban Industrial

Over the last decade, urban industrial interior design styles have found their way into a lot of homes. This design is both stylish and functional, and leans more towards modern city style, but still incorporates that authentic classic vibe that people love about industrial design.

To contrast with the roughness of industrial materials, urban industrial interior design incorporates sleek lines and smooth surfaces to create a modern city vibe. For instance, a reflective bathtub will brilliantly work with wooden and brick surroundings.

Urban industrial interior design styles involve ingenious storage solutions that feature unique items all at once. A perfect example of this is classic industrial wooden boxes arranged into a fashionable, but edgy storage space, matching well with a stainless steel countertop.

Another feature of this design is having lots of light. People who live in the city are always on the go, and that is reflected in the urban industrial interior design. Especially during winter, there must always be enough light to eat, work, and be entertained. To ensure that every room in the house is well-lit, there should be a great lighting design plan.

The classic design originated from Roman and Greek interior design. This design is focused on perfect harmony, balance, and order. It does not include any current elements or modern influences, and instead, it is filled with a traditional touch.

To differentiate classic design from other interior design styles, it is crucial to understand the meaning behind a focal point. Rooms that are classically designed often have huge focal points. A grand table, impressive staircase, and large fireplace are excellent examples of typically used focal points. Once an item has been chosen as the focal point, all other pieces in the room are placed to enrich the look of the focal point.

Creating a sense of balance is the idea behind a classic interior design. If the room was to be cut up in half, one side of the room will also perfectly reflect the other side. Everything from the way that accessories are placed to the lighting in the room must be impeccable.

The colors used are typically inspired by Mother Nature – browns, green, yellow, deep blues, and earth shades like terracotta. Black could also be used to highlight important items in a classically designed room.

“Home sweet home”. Many of us want to decorate and design our home because this is the place where we relax after doing activities through the day. Home is the best place to welcome guests, gather families and friends. Having a comfortable home is everyone’s dream. To create a lovely home, it involves great interior design ideas.

There are two ways you can choose to decorate your home. First, do the designing project yourself. Second, hire an interior designer. You can choose one of these options. Some prefer the first choice because they are passionate about interior design and on budget. Some prefer the second choice because they don’t understand much about a good interior designing and they value their time.

If you choose to hire an interior designer, then the first step is choosing the best interior designer to design your home. There are lots of companies that can help and provide you the interior design. But you have to choose the best company with reputation. You can see their portfolios and their works. Don’t hesitate to discuss with them what style will be the best to your home. You can also choose the design that you like from the internet and ask them to design your home with the one you choose. Just make sure the design and style will match your furniture and interior styles. They can also find solution to you and give you ideas what colors will be the best for your home.

I personally choose the DIY route because it saves my money a lot and I can learn a lot too from doing the project myself, but if I have budget in designing, than I should hire an interior designer and they will do the job for me. When it comes to design, the limit is the sky. Good luck and can’t wait to hear from you.
